Hand-washed antique oriental, Persian, and silk rugs — pickup across Sagaponack.

For more than a decade, the Cohen family has cared for the rugs of Sagaponack — Daniel's Lane, the Sagg Main oceanfront, the houses along Town Line Road, and the new-build estates that have remade the village over the past two decades. Designer modern pieces and the antique Persians on inherited family floors. Complimentary pickup, hand-washed in our atelier, returned in better condition than the day it left.

Care Across The Town

Rug care across Sagaponack.

Sagaponack is the smallest of the Hamptons villages by population and the wealthiest by household. ZIP 11962 holds Daniel's Lane and the Sagg Main oceanfront — the highest concentration of new-build estates on the South Fork, designed in the past two decades by working architects, with the modern designer rugs that go with them. Inland, around Sagaponack School and Town Line Road, a handful of older houses remain with antique Persians on inherited floors.

We see designer modern pieces more often in Sagaponack than in any other Hamptons town — large flat-weaves, contemporary commissioned work, modern silk from European makers — alongside the inherited antique Persians in the older houses. Each one is hand-washed in our Westchester atelier on the dedicated floor, by the same artisans, with the same care.

Common Conditions We Treat
  • Modern designer rug care
  • Heavy summer foot traffic
  • Off-season storage preparation
  • Water damage from oceanfront homes
  • Sun-fade on south-facing rooms
  • Sand and salt-air wear
From Sagaponack To Our Atelier

How we care for your rug, by hand.

From your home to our atelier — and back to your door, in better condition than the day it left.

01

We come to Sagaponack.

Arrange a complimentary pickup by phone or through the form. We schedule a time that fits the season, wrap your rug at your door — Daniel's Lane, Sagg Main, Town Line Road, or anywhere within the Sagaponack village boundary — and bring it back to our Westchester atelier.

02

Hand-washed in our atelier.

Every rug — antique oriental, Persian, silk, fine wool — is inspected and dye-tested, then hand-washed by our master artisans on our dedicated atelier floor. Never by machine, never off-site.

03

Returned to your home.

We wrap, transport, and place your rug back where it belongs — in better condition than the day it left, fully insured the entire way.

A Note On The Season

Memorial Day to Labor Day — and the quiet months after.

Hamptons pickup volume runs in two distinct waves. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, summer-rental wear and entertaining-season spills come in faster than at any other point in the year — we ask for two to three weeks of notice on non-urgent work. Then from late September through November, closing-up clients book the year's hand-wash and storage-prep visit before the houses go dark.

Pickup from Sagaponack routes through our Westchester HQ atelier — the round-trip is a full-day run, so we schedule early in the season and coordinate with house managers wherever possible. Off-season pickups (October through April) are easier and faster to book.

Common Questions

Questions, honestly answered.

What clients ask us before they hand over a rug — and how we answer.

How long does the rug stay at our Westchester atelier after a Sagaponack pickup?
A standard hand-wash on a modern designer piece takes seven to fourteen days from the date we collect your rug. Antique pieces, dye-bleed correction, or restoration work (reweaving, fringe binding, foundation repair) typically take three to six weeks. Every rug gets the time it needs — we never rush a piece to meet a machine's schedule.
