For more than a decade, the Cohen family has cared for the rugs of East Hampton — the historic village, Springs, and the oceanfront estates south of Montauk Highway. Antique Persians, designer modern pieces, and the heirlooms that summer in family houses. Complimentary pickup, hand-washed in our atelier, returned in better condition than the day it left.

East Hampton holds two kinds of houses at once. South of Montauk Highway the road bends past the great oceanfront estates — Further Lane, Lily Pond, the dunes — where antique Persians lie in formal rooms and the salt air finds its way in. North of the highway, the historic village and Springs hold the older year-round homes and the family summer houses kept by the same families for three generations: heirloom Persians, antique Oushak, the rugs the children grew up on.
We see all of it. Designer modern pieces commissioned for new builds; antique oriental rugs that have been in the family longer than the house has stood; silk rugs in primary bedrooms; high-traffic wool in the entry hall after a season of houseguests. Each one is hand-washed in our Westchester atelier on the dedicated floor, by the same artisans, with the same care, no matter the address.

Arrange a complimentary pickup by phone or through the form. We schedule a time that fits the season, wrap your rug at your door — village house, Springs cottage, or oceanfront estate south of Montauk Highway — and bring it back to our Westchester atelier.

Every rug — antique oriental, Persian, silk, fine wool — is inspected and dye-tested, then hand-washed by our master artisans on our dedicated atelier floor. Never by machine, never off-site.
Returned to your home.
We wrap, transport, and place your rug back where it belongs — in better condition than the day it left, fully insured the entire way.
Memorial Day to Labor Day — and the quiet months after.
Hamptons pickup volume runs in two distinct waves. From Memorial Day through Labor Day, summer-rental wear and entertaining-season spills come in faster than at any other point in the year — we ask for two to three weeks of notice on non-urgent work. Then from late September through November, closing-up clients book the year's hand-wash and storage-prep visit before the houses go dark.
Pickup from East Hampton routes through our Westchester HQ atelier — the round-trip is a full-day run, so we schedule early in the season and coordinate with house managers wherever possible. Off-season pickups (October through April) are easier and faster to book.
