Hand-washed antique oriental, Persian, and silk rugs — pickup across Millburn.
For more than a decade, the Cohen family has cared for the rugs of Millburn — Main Street, the lanes around Taylor Park, the Paper Mill Playhouse corridor, and the older houses on either side of the Short Hills line. Antique Persians, designer modern, family heirlooms. Complimentary pickup, hand-washed in our atelier, returned in better condition than the day it left.
Rug care across Millburn.
Millburn is the township that contains Short Hills as a section — the Main Street commercial village, Taylor Park, the Paper Mill Playhouse, and the older houses on the lanes that ring the downtown. The architecture moves between Federal, Colonial, Victorian, and contemporary; many of the houses have been in the same family for two or three generations.
The rugs follow the houses. Antique Persians in formal rooms; designer modern in renovated kitchens and family rooms; family heirlooms passed down with the address; oriental silks in primary bedrooms. Each one is hand-washed in our Short Hills atelier on the dedicated floor, by the same artisans, with the same care, no matter the address.
- Antique Persian — Tabriz, Kashan, Heriz
- Designer modern — wool and wool-silk
- Family heirlooms — multi-generational
- Oriental silk — antique and contemporary
- Moth treatment and damage repair
- Pet stains, dye-bleed, fringe repair

Arrange a complimentary pickup by phone or through the form. We schedule a time that fits the home — a Main Street townhouse, a Colonial near Taylor Park, a contemporary in the Wyoming district — wrap your rug at your door, and bring it back to our Short Hills atelier.
Hand-washed in our atelier.
Every rug — antique oriental, Persian, silk, fine wool — is inspected and dye-tested, then hand-washed by our master artisans on our dedicated atelier floor. Never by machine, never off-site.
Returned to your home.
We wrap, transport, and place your rug back where it belongs — in better condition than the day it left, fully insured the entire way.
