Hand-washed antique oriental, Persian, and silk rugs — pickup across Old Greenwich.
For more than a decade, the Cohen family has cared for the rugs of Old Greenwich — the village, Sound Beach Avenue, the streets around Tod's Point, and Innis Arden. Antique Persians, designer modern in waterfront homes, oriental silks, and the occasional Aubusson. Complimentary pickup, hand-washed in our atelier, returned in better condition than the day it left.
Rug care across Old Greenwich.
Old Greenwich runs from the village green out to the water. Shingle-style houses and white Colonials line Sound Beach Avenue down toward Tod's Point, and the streets behind the country club hold the older year-round homes — deep porches, summer rooms, antique Persians on the floor since the family bought the house. Innis Arden carries its own quieter cadence inland.
We see the full range. Antique oriental rugs in formal living rooms; designer modern pieces commissioned for renovated waterfront homes; oriental silks in primary bedrooms; the occasional Aubusson brought in from a New York apartment. Each one is hand-washed in our Greenwich atelier on the dedicated floor, by the same artisans, with the same care, no matter the address.
- Antique Persian — Tabriz, Kashan, Heriz
- Designer modern in waterfront homes
- Oriental silk — antique and contemporary
- Occasional Aubusson and fine wool
- Salt-air and humidity wear
- Sun-fade on south-facing rooms
