Hand-washed antique oriental, Persian, and silk rugs — pickup across Cos Cob.
For more than a decade, the Cohen family has cared for the rugs of Cos Cob — Strickland Road, the harbor area, the streets around the Bush-Holley House, and the lanes that climb the hamlet. Antique Persians, oriental silks, family heirlooms. Complimentary pickup, hand-washed in our atelier, returned in better condition than the day it left.
Rug care across Cos Cob.
Cos Cob is a village hamlet inside Greenwich — the harbor on one side, the Post Road through the middle, the older houses set back along Strickland Road and the lanes around the Bush-Holley House. The architecture moves between Federal and Victorian and contemporary; the families inside often go back generations.
The rugs follow the houses. Antique Persians passed down on the wall and then on the floor. Oriental silks in primary rooms. Family heirlooms with the wear that proves they have been lived on. Each one is hand-washed in our Greenwich atelier on the dedicated floor, by the same artisans, with the same care, no matter the address.
- Antique Persian — Tabriz, Kashan, Heriz
- Oriental silk — antique and contemporary
- Family heirlooms — multi-generational
- Fine wool — flatweave and pile
- Dye-bleed correction after water
- Moth treatment and damage repair
